Born and raised in New Jersey, Jeff Ditaranto grew up with heavy metal running through his veins. At the age of 7 he acquired his first drum set. At the age of 19 Jeff moved to New Mexico to finish school and joined the local metal scene where he regulary played in front of hundreds of fans.

After returning to his home state, in 2007 Jeff joined the Long Island hard rock/blues band REDLINE. As a member of REDLINE Jeff competed in a battle of the bands competition and came in 2nd place. In 2008 shortly after Jeff and his wife Orla welcomed their new baby boy into the world, he joined a Metallica tribute band.

Now in 2009 after answerering an internet ad and aceing his audition, Jeff has joined the ranks of FORSAKKEN. Jeff Ditaranto's double bass drum attack is the metal heartbeat and pounding fist of FORSAKKEN's headbanging New Wave of Traditional Metal(NWOTM) sound!
