Larissa Newcombe is a hispanic vocalist and songwriter who was born and raised in New York. Growing up she was exposed to and influenced by R&B, Pop, Blues, Classic Rock, Grunge and Alternative Rock due to her families very diverse taste in music.

As a teen in the early 2000's she discovered an increasing love for Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Nu-metal and Gothic/Alternative Metal. It was at this time that she came upon female vocalists such as Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil and Amy Lee from Evanescence, both of who inspired her greatly and would become her primary influences. She began to look into other female fronted bands in the rock/metal scene and found that women were emerging more heavily in the male dominated genre, all with vastly different sounds, styles and voices.

She loves the combination of dark and heavy sounds with the contrast of a powerful melodic singing voice. Her biggest influences are a mixture of various artists from all of the genres that she grew up listening to combined with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Korn, Halestorm, Within Temptation, Pat Benetar, Metallica, In this Moment and many others. The diversity of her eclectic taste helped shape her voice and led her to become an unsuspecting vocalist in Rock and Metal.

Larissa Newcombe's melodic approach is the siren steel assault of FORSAKKEN's New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) sound!
