Founded by guitarist/songwriter Billy Garcia of CBS Survivor fame, Forsakken was
born into existence on the mean streets of New York City in the summer of 2002.

Influenced by NWOBHM (New Wave of Britsh Heavy Metal), Forsakken is a Co-Ed, Latino/Hispanic, (NWOTHM) New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal band layered with ruthless riffs and powerful female vocals.

Forsakken's music has given them the reputation of being New York City's
headbanging, horns up, defenders of the heavy metal faith.
