Billy Garcia, a Dominican-American, was born in New York City and raised in Miami. He studied guitar, music, and Entertainment Business at the FAME Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Billy started his music career as a teenager with the South Florida Heavy Metal band XERPENTS. After their break up, Billy got on bus with only $50 and a dream bound for his old home town of New York City.

After playing in several music projects over a period of years, in the summer of 2002, Billy returned to his Heavy Metal roots. He founded FORSAKKEN, a riff heavy, New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal(NWOTHM) band.

Billy's main influnces are Black Sabbath, Slayer, Mercyful Fate, Early Savatage, Dio, Warlock, Iced Earth, Chastain, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Huntress, & Judas Priest.

Billy was a cast member on the reality tv show SURVIVOR, where the world got to meet this die hard head banger.
