Billy Garcia, a Dominican-American, was born in New York City and raised in Miami. He joined the Marines straight out of High School and studied guitar, music, and Entertainment Business at the FAME Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He also attended the University of Miami and BMCC in New York City.

Billy started his music career as a teenager in 1989 with the South Florida Heavy Metal band XERPENTS. After their break up in early 1992 Billy got on bus with only $50 and a dream bound for his old home town of New York City.

After playing in several music projects over a period of years and becoming a Pro-Wrestler with WUW, in 2001 Billy returned to his Heavy Metal roots with the band SHADOWZONE and later played in a short lived offshoot, BLACK RAINBOW. Billy founded FORSAKKEN in the summer of 2002. A natural evolution for the axeman, FORSAKKEN is a riff heavy New Wave of Traditional Metal(NWOTM) band with screaming evil guitar shred and dark fantasy lyrics.

In 2006 Billy was a cast member on the reality tv show SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS where the world got to meet this die hard head banger. In 2008 Billy filmed his first full length feature film starring role, the movie REALITY HORROR NIGHT which will be released in limited theaters on Halloween 2010. Billy Garcia's memorable riffs, world class songwriting, and Heavy Metal shred is the driving force and black soul of FORSAKKEN!
